Mr Sexton, or Pete as he became known to us as we became sixth-formers and team mates, was a truly inspirational teacher. Full of energy and passion for teaching he commanded our respect for the way he treated us as young adults, not children, at school. We must have shown some potential (at least on the football field!!) because he recruited us to Cosham FC in the mid-70s, a team he played for with equal passion and commitment. Many years later, I think it was 2010, we bumped into Pete at Wembley. He pretty much remembered all of us and we reminisced about "old times"!  A true gent. Sincere condolences to all the family.
